This week on Stories Behind the Songs, I am joined by one of my good friends, Taylor Austin Dye.

From East Kentucky, Taylor is quickly becoming an icon in Nashville creating her own brand and fan base - the “Ride or Dies”. Having moved here about 5 years ago, Taylor started off as a homebody, finding it difficult to get connected to the community in Nashville. That has quickly changed…

You will hear how Taylor was able to grow her fanbase by going live on TikTok, playing full time on Broadway doing doubles and sometimes even triple sets, and creating her own content on social media while having a blast doing it.

Taylor just released her debut album entitled “Out of These Hills” this past September and has been keeping herself busy touring and writing some new music set to release before the end of the year.

In this episode, Taylor tells stories behind some of her favorite songs including “Bible Belt” and how it was written to tell the story of growing up in a small town in Kentucky and the challenges that came with it,
